1. Topic sentence 中心句

中心句可謂是每個段落的靈魂，非常重要，點出段落主旨，連接段落與主題的關係，亦能作爲不同段落過渡的緩衝。以下係可以用來展開中心句開始的例子：

e.g.

In terms of …, …
按照 …， …

Regarding/ In regard to …, …
關於 …， …

Apart from…, …
除了…， …

Another point worth mentioning is …
還有一點值得一提的是……

On the contrary, one would argue that…
相反，有人會爭辯說……

2. Examples 例子

在段落開頭點明主題後，應提供例子以作補充證明。一下是各種提供例子的開展方式：

以…作爲例子，

3. Discussion 議論

接下來便可以對上面的例子和論點加以論述和延申，豐富内容。

4. Small conclusion 小結

進行充分的論證後，應在每段落後加一個小總結，總括每段落的主要觀點，使文章更完滿。
