係 IELTS Speaking 嘅第三部份，考官會同你談論一啲較為抽象嘅議題。 考生可能覺得呢部份較先前兩部分難應付，但其實適當運用以下字句，定能助你講得更加流暢！  

1. It is quite likely that 很有可能

It is quite likely that global warming is causing damage to our planet. 
全球暖化很有可能正在對我們的地球造成損害。  

2. Consequently/ As a consequence 因此／其結果為

We should encourage people to drive less. This will consequently reduce air pollution and traffic problems. 
我們應該鼓勵人們少開車。這樣，空氣污染和交通問題便會因此改善。  

3. In the year to come 在今後的歲月裡

I would assume that computer will play even larger roles in the years to come. 
我認為電腦在今後的歲月裡將會扮演一個更重要的角色。

4. By the time we are 等到我們⋯的時候

By the time we are forty, I would guess that we would have flying cars by then. 
等到我們四十歲的時候，我猜我們可能已經有會飛的汽車了。  

5. Certainly yes, because 當然是，因為

Certainly yes, because playing sports is great for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 
當然是，因為做運動是保持健康生活的好方法。

6. To be honest, no, because 老實說，不，因為

To be honest, no, because I don't think smoking is healthy. 
老實說，不，因為我不認為吸煙是健康的。

7. Hence 因此

Hence, it is pointless to continue supporting this idea. 
因此，繼續支持這個想法是毫無意義的。  

8. On the one hand...but on the other hand 一方面，⋯，但在另一方面

On the one hand I would like a more well-paid job, but on the other hand I enjoy the work I am doing now. 
一方面，我想要一份更高薪的工作，但另一方面，我也很享受我現在的工作。  

9. Undoubtedly 毫無疑問
